On behalf of Ka‘au and ‘Aukai and Hula Hālau He Makana O Aloha, we would like to thank the officers and student and community members from Portland State’s Pacific Islanders Club for allowing us to be apart of this years wonderful lū‘au.With all the feedback that we have received so far, this has by far been the best lū‘au in the State of Oregon.Thanks to Sinira Fuimaono and your wonderful team of hardworkers who made this event a success.

Mahalo a nui loa to all our wonderful supporters who have sent their love and aloha via emails, postal letters, facebook and via our website. Aunty Robbie has done only wonderful things in her lifetime and her legacy will truly live on through the many organizations that she has been apart of.
Please join us as we continue her celebration of life during her memorial service on May 23rd at the First United Methodist Church at 3pm.

Mahalo a nui loa to Aunty Deva Yamashiro of Kaleinani o ke Kukui for inviting our hālau to share our aloha with everyone on Saturday May 1st, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Vancouver, Washington. A big mahalo to Ke Kukui Foundation for putting on such wonderful Hawaiian events for the public in the Pacific Northwest.
Hula Hālau He Makana O Aloha dedicated all their songs to Aunty Robbie Tsuboi. May Akua continue to bless her and her 'ohana. The hālau sends their love and aloha.

Kālua Pork Fundraiser - March 2010
Welina mai kākou!On behalf of Hula Hālau He Makana O Aloha and Portland State University’s Pacific Islanders Club, we would like to thank all of you who supported our Kālua Pork Fundraiser from March 1st – March 31st, 2010.This fundraiser was a huge success and better than we expected.Each haumāna or student agreed to sell a minimum of 5 tickets which helped them pay for their costumes for their Lū‘au on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 at Portland State University.
Due to the huge success of this fundraiser, we will be having another Kālua Pork fundraiser in the near future.If you would like to show your support, please send us your email, address or phone number via our contact page and we will keep you posted on future events and fundraisers.
